The Opportunity
The Block Bali is a newer martial arts training centre based in Pererenan, co founded by Gianni Subba. It’s a modern, aesthetic space where martial arts is practiced at a high standard, alongside a fully integrated recovery centre.
While the facility and training are genuinely world class, the visual presence hadn’t yet caught up to the level of what was being built on the ground. For a brand this considered, the online content needed to reflect the quality, discipline, and intention behind the space.
The opportunity was to create a visual foundation that matched the calibre of The Block Bali. Something that positioned it clearly as a serious training environment, not just another gym in Bali.

What We Did
We spent time inside the space capturing the real rhythm of The Block Bali. The training sessions. The quiet moments between rounds. The recovery work that happens off the mats.
The focus was on creating a visual language that felt as considered as the gym itself. Clean, modern frames. Controlled movement. Details that highlight both the intensity of the martial arts training and the calm of the recovery environment.
The result was a set of visuals that feel intentional, premium, and true to the way The Block actually operates day to day.

The shoot took place over the span of a week, allowing us to capture the gym in different rhythms. Early sessions, peak training times, and quieter recovery moments.
This gave the visuals more range and honesty. Not just highlight moments, but a real sense of how The Block operates day to day, across different disciplines and energy levels.
The Results
The project gave The Block Bali a strong visual base to build from. A set of assets that properly represent the quality of the facility, the level of training, and the atmosphere of the space.
The content now gives people a clear sense of what The Block Bali feels like before they arrive. It reflects the standard they hold themselves to and helps position the gym as a serious destination for martial arts training and recovery.
